دوران نماز نيت کی تبديلی:

اگر کوئی نماز عصر پڑھ رہا هو اور اچانک ياد آۓ كہ اس نے تو ظهر كى نماز ادا نہيں كى تو اسکے ليے ظهر كى نيت كرنا صحيح نہيں اور اگر اس نے ايسا کيا تو اسکى نماز نہ ظہر کی ہوئی اور نہ هى عصر كى کيونکہ فرض نماز تب تک صحيح نہيں ہوتی جب تک اسے معين
نيت سے تكبير سے سلام تک ادا نہ کیا جائے.

کسی مخصوص نماز کےدوران نيت تبديل كرکے دوسری مخصوص نماز كى نيت کرنے کی اجازت نہیں. اسی طرح عمومی نماز (مثلا نفل) کےدوران نيت تبديل كرکے دوسری مخصوص نماز كى نيت کرنے کی اجازت نہیں. البتہ کسی مخصوص نماز کےدوران نيت تبديل كرکے دوسری عمومی نماز كى نيت کرنے کی اجازت ہے . … شیخ عثیمین رحمہ اللہ

Chane of intention during prayer:

If someone is offering Asar prayer and it dawns on him that he did not offer Zuhr prayer then he cannot chnage his intention for Zuhr during the prayer. If he does so, this would void his Zuhr as well as Asar prayer. The obligatory prayer is not complete unless it is completed with a single intention from start to end.

Is it permissible to change one’s intention from one specific thing to another?

It is not permissible to change one’s intention from one specific thing to another, or from something general to something specific. Rather it is only permissible to change one’s intention from something specific to something general.
